Draftsperson Apply For This Position

The Draftsperson provides support to the Project Managers and Design Teams by producing drawings of interior architectural construction details and custom furniture pieces.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create digital Tucker & Marks furniture design library, scan and file hand drawn catalog of pieces
  • Preparation of interior architectural construction documents and presentation materials (i.e. floor plans, RCPs, floor patterns, interior elevations, architectural details, cabinetry and interior details, custom furniture drawings, furniture plan layouts)
  • Assemble drawing packages including proofreading and review with Project Managers before issuing
  • Maintain Tucker & Marks’ architectural and furniture drawing and detail libraries
  • Liaise with outside architects, engineers, contractors, lighting designers and any other outside consultants as needed under supervision of Project Manager

OTHER DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide general support to Project Managers, Principals and Design Teams on executing special assignments

REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in architecture/interior architecture design
  • Two years’ experience working in a high-end residential interior design firm or architecture firm
  • Proficiency in Drafting and Auto-Cad
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Strong organizational and computer skills
  • Team player – works to ensure team goals are met or exceeded

PREFERRED:

  • Hand drawing abilities
  • Furniture design experience

Designer Apply For This Position

The Designer coordinates with the Design Principal to execute all design decisions, helps finalize design and attends project meetings (as required) from design development phase through installation phase.

REQUIRED:

  • 4-8 years’ experience working in a high-end interior design firm, that includes project management, design and budgeting experience
  • Excellent customer service, communication and management skills
  • Prior experience managing staff, with excellent team building skills
  • A degree in Interior Design or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills may be acquired
  • Strong organizational and computer skills

Project Assistant Apply For This Position

The Project Assistant provides administrative support for design projects from development phase through delivery and installation phase.

REQUIRED:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of administrative experience in a professional environment

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as a team
  • Pro-active problem solver with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, accuracy and prioritizing
  • Self-starter; resourceful; multi-tasking extraordinaire
