Designer Apply For This Position

The Designer coordinates with the Design Principal to execute all design decisions, helps finalize design and attends project meetings (as required) from design development phase through installation phase.

REQUIRED:

  • 4-8 years’ experience working in a high-end interior design firm, that includes project management, design and budgeting experience
  • Excellent customer service, communication and management skills
  • Prior experience managing staff, with excellent team building skills
  • A degree in Interior Design or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills may be acquired
  • Strong organizational and computer skills

Project Coordinator Apply For This Position

Responsibilities include reviewing vendor quotes for proper lead time, pricing, delivery and freight costs, coordination of all aspects of ordering process (including CFA’s, strike-offs and finish samples), WIP reports, scheduling and coordination of production checks, receiving and storage, liaising with accounting department on payments, deposits and refunds, and providing assistance for project installations as needed.

REQUIRED:

  • 3 – 5 years’ experience in a professional environment that includes purchasing experience, including familiarity with inventory control and accounting procedures
  • Excellent customer service, communication (verbal and written) skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Strong organizational, analytical skills, attention to detail, prioritizing and problem-solving skills
  • The ability to interact well with vendors, clients and team members at all levels
  • An understanding of the interior design industry; knowledge of showrooms and vendors
  • Exceptional attendance and punctuality; flexibility to work overtime
  • Be a team player; working to ensure team goals are met or exceeded.

PREFERRED:

  • Prior experience working in an interior design firm

The Project Assistant provides administrative support for design projects from development phase through delivery and installation phase.
